Dr. Todd S. Brasuell
Dr. Todd Brasuell has been practicing pediatric dentistry for nearly two decades, and he brings a deep sense of compassion and skill to every visit. A Baton Rouge native, he discovered his passion for dentistry early—working in a sterilization lab at his childhood dentist’s office. That experience solidified his desire to help children feel safe and confident at the dentist, a mission he’s fulfilled ever since.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology from Louisiana State University and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in 2004. He was honored with the Outstanding Undergraduate Award in Pediatric Dentistry and the Baldridge Scholarship for academic excellence. Dr. Brasuell then completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at LSU and Children’s Hospital New Orleans, followed by board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Brasuell is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentists, the Northlake Dental Association, and several other local and national organizations. He stays at the forefront of pediatric care through extensive continuing education and community engagement.
Known for his calm demeanor and thoughtful care, Dr. Brasuell is especially skilled at working with children who experience high anxiety or have special health care needs. He believes in treating every child like his own and making sure their first treatment experience sets a positive foundation for life.
Outside the office, Dr. Brasuell enjoys LSU football, golf, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Dana, and their three children—Reid, Mia, and Roman.

Dr. Brooke Vinturella

Dr. Brooke V. Vinturella
Dr. Brooke Vinturella was born in New Orleans, LA and raised on the Northshore. She attended St. Scholastica Academy for high school right here in Covington, LA. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology from LSU in Baton Rouge before moving to New Orleans. Dr. Vinturella attended LSU School of Dentistry where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Following graduation, she packed her bags and moved to Augusta, Georgia where she completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at the Dental College of Georgia - Augusta University. In 2024 she moved back "home" and started working here at Todd S. Brasuell Pediatric Dentistry where she used to be a patient herself! Her favorite things about pediatric dentistry are seeing the world through their eyes and watching little ones overcome their fears.
When she is not working on tiny teeth she is walking or playing with her dog, Butter, traveling, reading, or spending time with her family and friends!

Theresa
Practice Manager
Since joining our team in 2012, Theresa has developed tremendous knowledge of the dental industry. She's a true admin expert with experience in everything from patient relations to office management. A natural leader, she excels in training and finding the best talent to help our team grow. Theresa is the supportive backbone of our practice, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently. When she's not taking care of our team, Theresa loves spending time with her three children that are her world. She enjoys staying active by being outdoors, walks with her pup, bike rides, cooking, and gardening.
Janay
Insurance Coordinator/Marketing Coordinator
Janay has been a part of our team since 2017 and with many years of experience in our office, she brings a deep understanding of both patient care and team operations. She has a passion for promoting healthy habits and finds great fulfillment in helping families feel at ease and capturing moments that reflect the joy and care at the heart of our practice. Outside of work, she enjoys being active and spending time with her goldendoodle, Kash, feeding her foodie soul by exploring new restaurants and cooking, and quality time with family and friends.
Jordan
Remote Insurance Verification and Claims Specialist
Jordan joined our team in 2020 and quickly became known for her friendly personality and adventurous spirit. After several years as our Treatment Coordinator, she recently stepped into a new role as our Remote Insurance Verification and Claims Specialist, where her eye for detail keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. When she’s not working, Jordan loves cooking, traveling, and saying “yes” to any new adventure that comes her way.
Chelsea
Financial Coordinator
Chelsea joined our team in 2023 and brightened the office with her positive energy, encouraging spirit, and attention to detail. From your first new patient call to answering all things financial, she loves helping families feel warm and confident about their child’s dental care. Outside the office, she loves spending time with her husband and children. With an outdoor soul and a music-loving heart, Chelsea’s always up for adventure. She’s an absolute sucker for all things Christmas!
Rachel
Treatment Coordinator
Rachel is married to the love of her life, Chet, and mom to a sweet baby boy, Shep. She has had the joy of being a part of this work family since 2023, and she is currently the Treatment Coordinator for Dr. Brooke. Rachel enjoys helping patients navigate their care with compassion and organization. When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her camping under the stars, trying a new restaurant, enjoying a great concert, or just spending quality time with her family.
Melissa
Treatment Coordinator
Born and raised in Chalmette, Melissa is equal parts organization, humor, and heart—always ready with a smile and maybe a coffee in hand. She is our Treatment Coordinator for Dr. Brasuell and is certain to make you feel at ease during the process. When she’s not at work, she loves being home, cooking, and spending time outside with her family and two dogs.
Michayla
Hosptial/IV Coordinator
Michayla has been part of our team since 2020 and brings a caring, organized touch to her role as IV/Hospital Coordinator. She helps ensure that every hospital visit and in-office experience goes smoothly for our patients and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking up new recipes, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
Kenley
Patient Experience Coordinator
From your first phone call to checking into your child’s visits, Kenley ensures every part of your visit runs smoothly. She loves welcoming new families, answering questions, and making sure parents feel informed and confident about their child’s dental care. Kenley joined our team earlier this year as a remote scheduler and recently joined our team in office. She enjoys trying out creative hobbies, exploring antique stores, and relaxing at home with her dog by her side.
Rebecca
Registered Dental Hygienist
Rebecca graduated from LSU with her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene in 2015. She has been working with Dr. Brasuell for the past 19 years, and has built a meaningful career doing what she truly loves. Her warm personality and calming presence helps children feel at ease in the dental chair. She is passionate about educating young patients and takes pride in making a positive impact on families every day. Outside of her work, Rebecca is a proud mother of three children, who keeps her life full of laughter and purpose. She is happily married to her husband, Justin, and deeply values family time and making memories together. She believes in making the most of every moment and living life with a grateful heart.
Ashley
Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashley has been helping children smile brighter since graduating from LSU with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. With a passion for pediatric dentistry, she enjoys working with kids of all abilities – making every dental visit a positive and comfortable experience. Outside of the office, Ashley loves spending time with her husband, their two children, and their two dogs. When she’s not caring for smiles, you’ll likely find her playing tennis or pickleball, or relaxing out on the boat with her family.
Kristy
Clinical Coordinator/EDDA Certified Dental Assistant
With over 27 years of experience in the dental field, Kristy has dedicated her career to creating positive, comfortable experiences for every patient. She specializes in working with children and is known for her charisma and ability to make children feel at ease. Kristy’s compassion and dedication have earned her the trust of countless families over the years. Outside of the dental office, Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband, Barry, their two sons, Luke and Jack, and their beloved “good boy” puppy, Arkie.
Christina
EDDA Certified Dental Assistant
Christina has been a part of Dr. Brasuell’s team since 2019 and she is fluent in Spanish. She loves being in the treatment room, especially with young and anxious patients, because they bring out her caring, comforting side. Helping kids feel safe and confident during their visits is one of her favorite parts of her job. When she’s not at work, she enjoys going on walks with her chocolate lab, Danger, spending time with her husband, Shawn, and eating tons of food -- especially chips and queso!
Keke
EDDA Certified Dental Assistant
Meet Keke. With her five years of experience as a dedicated dental assistant, she takes pride in creating a calm, positive, and supportive environment for every patient—especially those with special needs and dental anxiety. She understands that a dental visit can be overwhelming for some, so she focuses on patience, compassion, and clear communication to help each child and family feel comfortable and cared for. Keke’s goal is to make every appointment a positive experience, building trust and confidence one smile at a time. While not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tre, their baby boy, Malachi and Maltese puppy, Benji.
Katie
EDDA Certified Dental Assistant
Katie has been a part of the team as an assistant since 2024 and she absolutely loves helping kids have fun while taking care of their smiles! She’s a little goofy, always laughing, and never short on a good joke. When she’s not in the office, you can find her coaching volleyball, learning ASL, playing sports, or hanging out with her family and her two dogs. She believes smiles are contagious and she loves spreading them every day!
Diana
EDDA Certified Dental Assistant
Diana brings 20 years of experience to our practice. Two years ago, Diana returned to her home state, Louisiana with her husband Chuck, of 39 years, after living in Oregon for 39 years. Most of her dental career has been in General Dentistry but she has found a newfound love for Pediatric! She loves working with little ones to young adults and feels so rewarding to her. She feels so blessed to be a part of a wonderful team and looks forward to forming relationships with our patients and their families. In Diana’s spare time she enjoys gardening, walking, playing with her dog, Nola, and facetiming with her kids and grandkids.

Lab Technician
Caroline is our Dental Lab Technician who works behind the scenes to help create beautiful, comfortable smiles for our patients. With a great eye for detail and a genuine love for what she does. She is a valued part of our team and always brings a positive attitude to the office. When she’s not in the lab, you can usually find Caroline spending time with family, trying new coffee shops, and going to Pilates.
