A dental emergency is any unexpected injury, infection, or pain involving your child’s teeth, mouth, or gums that requires prompt attention. At our practice, we’re experienced in handling pediatric dental emergencies with compassion and efficiency. Common emergencies include knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, facial swelling, or lingering tooth pain. We know these situations can be stressful, so we aim to minimize wait times, offer clear guidance over the phone, and create a calm setting for urgent care. Whether your child is anxious or in pain, we’ll help restore their smile and your peace of mind.

Unlike permanent teeth, a knocked-out baby tooth is not usually reimplanted. Call us right away so we can examine the area and ensure the underlying tooth structure and surrounding tissue are not affected.
If your child has knocked out a permanent tooth, time becomes a huge factor in our ability to reimplant the tooth. Recover the tooth if possible, holding it by the crown (not the root), and keep it moist in a container of milk or saliva, and call us right away.
